About Us
Our History
For over 70 years, Wassertechnische Gesellschaft Lude has been a family-owned company with a clear technical focus.
The development of the company is closely linked to the people who have shaped it over generations.
1952
Founding of Berliner Wassertechnischen Gesellschaft Dr. Zauber & Co. in West Berlin, with the aim of manufacturing filter nozzles for all systems and mass collectors.
The founding members were Dr. Zauber, Prof. Dr. Denner, and the naval engineer Heinz Lude.
1960
Reorganization into Berliner Wassertechnischen Gesellschaft H. Lude & Co.
Elisabeth Lude, wife of Heinz Lude, joined the company as a new limited partner and assumed responsibility within the family business.
1970
Relocation of the company headquarters from Berlin to Unterthingau in the Allgäu region.
With this step, the Lude family laid the foundation for long-term stability and further growth.
Reorganization into Wassertechnische Gesellschaft H. Lude & Co.
The company owners were now Heinz and Elisabeth Lude together with their then 26-year-old son Karl-Heinz Lude.
1997
After the death of founding member Heinz Lude, the company lost a defining personality. Until shortly before his passing at the age of 88, he led the business with great dedication and personal commitment.
His son Karl-Heinz Lude continued to drive the company’s international orientation with a high level of technical expertise.
As part of the transformation into Wassertechnische Gesellschaft Lude GmbH & Co. KG, Elisabeth Lude, Karl-Heinz Lude, Ariane Suchlich-Lude, and Barbara Pauer-Lude assumed shareholder responsibility.
2003
The year 2003 was marked by profound changes for both the family and the company. In January, Karl-Heinz Lude passed away, followed by the loss of Elisabeth Lude in February.
Responsibility was transferred to Dagmar Lude as well as to Ariane Suchlich-Lude and Barbara Pauer-Lude.
To structurally secure the future of the company, PSL-Verwaltungs-GmbH was founded as the general partner of the KG. Jochen Suchlich assumed management responsibility.
2022
With the loss of Dagmar Lude, the company lost a central pillar of the family. As a mother and co-owner, she shaped the business for many years with great dedication and a strong sense of responsibility.
Since then, the company has been in the hands of Ariane Suchlich-Lude and Barbara Pauer-Lude. The management of the KG continues to be led by Jochen Suchlich.
